Peningkatan Keterampilan Pengolahan Penganan Jagung “Pulut” Ibu-Ibu Petani Jagung di Kelurahan Manongkoki

The purpose of this activity is to overcome the partner problems that are being developed by people in Manongkoki that is understanding of entrepreneurship, which includes aspects of production, business management, marketing system and inadequate infrastructure facilities. Manongkoki Corn Farmers are mothers who have large and large amount of land and corn, and their daily activities are spent at home only as a housewife. The Mothers of Pulut Corn Farmers were chosen as PKM partners considering that the Natural Resources in the form of Pulut Corn which is owned by palm fruit but has not been able to be processed into a product that has a high selling value. The availability of raw materials, time and place is seen as big capital, so that through this activity other needs in the form of production equipment and marketing media as a complement will be provided by the community service team. The method that is done is community development through counseling activities and mentoring the making of pulut corn (waxy corn) into confectionary of pulut corn (waxy corn). The results obtained during the implementation of the aspects of production, groups bulosibatang understand the great benefits of pulut corn (waxy corn) plants through extension activities conducted, knowing how to process pulut corn (waxy corn) that can be improved for value. Partners already understand the correct way of the aspect of financial business management and marketing, the publics produce confectionary of pulut corn (waxy corn) that is ready to be marketed with a packaging system that can attract consumers. Supporting facilities for activities are also provided to partners.
